| THE COMENIUS PROJECT |
"COMPARISON OF SEVERAL COASTAL AREAS IN THE NORTH AND SOUTH OF EUROPE"
The present job has been made since March 1999 to July 2001 funded by the European Union through Socrates. Comenius 1.
Apart from others, the three main aims of this project were, firstly, to make students be aware of Europe: its different cultures, languages, industries, etc. Sencondly, make them use the foreign language they are studying besides analysing errors when speaking to foreign students. They can realise that "making mistakes" when communicating in a foreign language is an inherent element of the process. Thirdly, let European citizens learn and know our particular culture, customs, music, etc. We have decided to hang it on a web in order to make access to our "country" easier.
In the project four schools from different parts of Europe took part:
Partner schools: "Järnefeltin koulu" from Virkkala (Finland)
"Gymnasium am Wall" from Verden (Germany)
"Zespól Szkool Ekonomicznych" from Slupca (Poland)
